The “Just Believe” stamp set is one of my favorites from the new Idea Book and Catalog for 2010-2011, and I got it free when I attended Stampin’ Up’s convention this year!
I started with a Base of Marina Mist card stock and added a mat of Early Espresso. I ran 1-1/4” of the Soft Suede piece through the Big Shot in the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder so the rest of the frame would have the smooth texture and added 5/8” grosgrain Early Espresso Ribbon to hide the seam.
I made a mask using the Circle Die and my Big Shot and used sponge daubers to blend in Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist and Bashful Blue inks in the circle on Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the foliage in Old Olive and ran dotto adhesive across the circle in horizontal strokes to give the Dazzling Diamonds glitter a look of shrouding mist.
I punched Soft Suede with the new Decorative Label in the Holiday Mini Catalog, stamped the circle stamp from the Just Believe set with Marina Mist ink on Marina Mist cardstock and added the sentiment with Early Espresso ink. Then I used the 1-1/4" circle punch and a dimensional to add it on top of the Soft Suede label.
